Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University of Science and Technology Job Circular 2022, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University of Science and Technology is a public university in Bangladesh. It is located in Gopalganj district of Dhaka division of the country. On 7 July 2001, the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University of Science and Technology Act was passed in the Great Parliament. Due to various obstacles, the activities of the university are completely closed. On January 20, 2010, the government issued SRO to implement the law of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University of Science and Technology. Finally, the academic activities of the university started from the academic year 2011-12. It is currently the fourth largest university in Bangladesh in terms of number of students.

The process of building the university started in 1999. The then government adopted a plan to set up 12 science and technology universities in 12 large districts. In the first phase, 6 development project proposals prepared for implementation. The Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University of Science and Technology project one of them. Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University of Science and Technology Job
On 13 July 2001, the then Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina officially laid the foundation stone of the university. On July 14, the then Prime Minister, Prof. Dr. as the Vice Chancellor of the University. M. Khairul Alam Khan recommended for appointment and the appointment approved by the President on 19 July 2001. On April 15, 2002, the university project declared completely closed and the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. M. Khairul Alam Khan’s appointment canceled and he directed to join his former institution Rajshahi University. The project, which suspended in November 2009, was revived and on January 5, 2010, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Prof. Dr. M. Khairul Alam Khan re-appointed as Project Director and on 20 January 2010 the Ministry of Education issued SRO for implementation of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University of Science and Technology, Gopalganj Act-2001.
