BKSP job circular 2022, Bangladesh Sports Education Institute (BKSP) is the only sports education institution in the country which integrated general education activities with sports. The institute set up with the aim of improving the quality of sports, providing intensive training to emerging and talented children, adolescents and young athletes. The Government of Bangladesh planned to establish the Bangladesh Institute of Sports (BIS) in 1974 in the form of a project under the National Sports Council for the purpose of institutionalizing sports and providing modern and appropriate training. The project started in 1986. It was renamed Bangladesh Sports Education Institute (BKSP) by an ordinance in 1973. Regular training and education activities started in this institute since 1986. The company is located on 119 acres of land at Jirani in Savar, 50 km northwest of the capital Dhaka.

BKSP is a statutory autonomous body under the Ministry of Youth and Sports. It governed by a 10-member board of directors headed by the Minister of Youth and Sports. The organization has 4 branches; Namely, administrative, training, sports science and academic. The chief executive officer of the organization is the director general. Under him are two directors: director of administration and finance and director of training. There is a principal in the general education department. Five regional branches (Dinajpur, Barisal, Chittagong, Khulna and Sylhet) set up for the development and expansion of sports talent through grassroots exploration and intensive training. Meanwhile, training activities started in Dinajpur. Others are waiting for training to begin.

The Department of Sports Science started in the year 2000 to enhance the skills of the athletes through science compliant and modern training. At present there are 5 branches in this department; Namely, Exercise Physiology, Sports Biomechanics, Sports Medicine, Sports Psychology and Scientific Sports Training. The capacity of the trainees assessed in these departments which equipped with sophisticated and valuable equipment. In addition, seminars, symposiums, workshops on sports held. The Bangladesh Journal of Sports Science and the BKSP Quarterly Bulletin and Annual are published regularly. BKSP has various training activities. Among them long term (6-12 years) and short term (1-6 months) training are notable.

There are also Coach Training Courses (4 weeks), Certificate Courses (Sports Science, 3 months), Diploma Courses especially in Football, Athletics, Sports Psychology, Sports Biomechanics, Sports Physiology and GTMT etc. (1 year). At present, long-term training activities are underway in 12 sports. Namely: Athletics, Archery, Basketball, Boxing, Cricket, Football, Gymnastics, Judo, Hockey, Shooting, Swimming and Tennis. The introduction of table tennis and martial arts faculties (taekwondo, usho and karate) is in progress. BKSP is a full-fledged residential organization. There are 4 dormitories for students and 1 dormitory for female students. The trainees are kept under close supervision in strict discipline and improved environment. The organization has various facilities including sports range and infrastructure.

There are 5 international standard football fields, 1 synthetic turf of 2 hockey fields, 4 high quality cricket grounds including 1 indoor cricket center, 1 synthetic truck with 6 lanes, 2 cement basketball courts with indoor facilities and tennis courts. The swimming complex has an international standard swimming pool with 6 lanes and a separate diving pool. There is a shooting complex with 10m, 25m, 50m and skit ranges. There is also a gymnasium with a seating capacity of 4,000 spectators covering an area of 1,600 square meters. Special sports facilities such as conditioning hall, sports science complex, audio-visual center and library exist. Other facilities include administrative building, college building, medical center, VIP guest house, hostel for foreign coaches.

2 hostels for other trainees, 1 cafeteria, 1 mosque, residential complex for staff. The trainees admitted through the admission test at the beginning of the English year. Candidates who pass the primary health examination re called to the residential camp. There are written tests on science-related subjects (physiological and psychological) and sports in their respective classes. Candidates who pass both the examinations admitted for long term training. The salary of the trainees determined according to the income certificate of the guardian which is payable in 4 installments per year. Here trainees admitted in 4th to 8th class and degree.

The college of the institution is under the control of the Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education and the undergraduate level educational activities affiliated to the National University. However, the age limit relaxed in the case of exceptionally promising trainees. The institute provides educational materials, accommodation, food, training equipment and medical facilities to the trainees. BKSP is a reputed organization not only in South Asia but in the whole of Asia. The organization has so far won 16 gold, 17 silver and 14 bronze medals in various international (Commonwealth, Asian and SAF) games.
